What You Can Expect

As the Data Architect in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Sales you will identify opportunities to redesign our systems and processes using the latest in digital technology. As the Data Architect you will connect business objectives with ideas on how to use data centric technology solutions to achieve and unlock value for the organization. Every day, you will report to the Solutions Strategy Director to collaborate and define a vision for the data-related systems and processes that support each of our digital products, leading the design of the future-state solution, support the development and integration of those solutions into our business. Furthermore, you will be responsible for defining and refining ENGIE’s Enterprise Data Model, helping establish common nomenclature across functional teams and within our data and reporting platforms.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or MIS
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of technical architecture and systems implementation experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Microsoft Azure, cloud-based systems, and data technologies experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Agile and DevOps experience
  • Expert in data modeling, design, and architecture
  • Familiarity with data solutions such as Azure, AWS, Data Bricks and Snowflake
  • Proficient in various Azure data soluitons such as PowerBI, SQL Server, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Spark, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.
  • Expert in complex data analysis
  • Experience with modeling tools such as Visio or Lucidchart

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually

 

 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
