Who are we looking for?

As Energy Portfolio & Pricing Manager you will work in the Italian office in Milan of the Flexible Generation & Retail Global Business Unit, which aims to provide balanced and flexible power generation, hydrogen and green solutions to B2C customers.

In a transformed energy world, driven by sobriety, energy efficiency and data, the Business Unit RETAIL aim at being a reference in decarbonation. The business is focused on integrated energy offerings, with flexibility at the heart.

By 2023 it has about 1 million customers for energy and services in Italy. Delight customer relationship, digitalize, greenify our solutions, bring value to both the customer and the business are our main challenges. 

 

What will you do?

You will report to the Head of Product, Marketing and Growth and, in coordination with the team, you will manage the forecasting of the portfolio, the sourcing and the pricing for our energy offerings for residential and SoHo. This role works very closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Supply, Risk, Regulatory and Operations organizations, and be involved in business planning, growth strategies, and critical business initiatives.

 

What will you be in charge of?

  • Manage a team of a portfolio manager, analyst and data scientist
  • Forecast the energy customer portfolio based on inputs from various areas within the company 
  • In collaboration with our Global Energy Management & Sales entity, define the optimal hedging strategy and instruments (options, swaps,…)
  • Steering the position of the portfolio and source power, gas and guarantees of origin
  • Pricing the offers for all the various channels, and steering the portfolio marginality
  • Build, improve and maintain automatized tooling and reporting to steer the portfolio leveraging cloud computing technology
  • Analyze large data sets and apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define business problems and develop data-driven solutions. Identify data quality issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Develop new opportunities to reach the objectives and key results that are shared across the organization.

 

Why you?

  • You have a Master degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • You have a relevant experience in portfolio and risk management
  • You are willing to lead cross-functional teams, working in agile
  • You are familiar with data management and data warehousing concepts.
  • You have knowledge of the energy markets and/or the utility industry
  • You have some knowledge in programming language such as Python, R or SQL, Application Program Interface, data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI, platforms such as AWS
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are fluent in Italian and English.
