Overview

Our team is growing!  Excellent opportunity for a Deal & Risk management (DRM) Business Analyst to join our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business to implement IS Projects and contribute to legacy system evolution.

You will participate actively to the local deployment of Gemstone toolset in GEMS ANZ on the whole front to back chain, as well as the continuous evolution and support of DRM legacy systems.

 

Responsibilities:

Business Analysis

  • Understand the business needs and ensure that the IS solutions are fitting users’ requirements (functional and technical).
  • Analyze and share the business requirements with the technical team
  • Liaise and coordinate implementation with GEMS central teams.
  • Write and maintain functional specifications and global documentation on the different tools
  • Deliver IS and Business training and assistance
  • Conduct the business change management
  • Test IT applications before releases
  • Maintain high standard of software quality, development, design and testing principles within the team
  • Ensure the effectiveness and performance of provided services and applications
  • Support and promote the continuous improvement of the services and applications
  • Structure legacy system product backlog and liaise with Product owner to prioritize it.

 

Production Support

  • Ensure production stability
  • Communicate  incidents, provide action plan to the users
  • Coordinate incidents resolution with any other IT team when necessary (Paris/Brussels application teams, GEM IS infrastructure, …).
  • Put in place KPI for production follow-up
  • Process local user support requests (configurations, assistance, ..)
  • Monitor the IT platform and execute the associated actions when alerts are raised
  • Enrich the backlog of evolutions and problems (source of recurring incidents), including description, benefits, priority
  • Support the IT part of GEMS Business Continuity Plan in Melbourne

 

Compliance Management

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on achieving full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have 10 years’ experience in a similar role including in an IT  trading environment.

You will also have:

  • Knowledge and experience with Trading and/or portfolio management processes
  • Active listening and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Facilitation skills, pragmatism and proactivity, resilience
  • Understanding of trading environment, as well as derivatives life cycle, Greeks, PI, V@R
  • A high level of technical knowledge on Windows environment, SQL and VBA skills, as well as scripting skills
