The Opportunity:

 

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to manage the development of renewable assets through various stages of the project lifecycle through to financial close, with a focus on solar, wind and hybrid projects.

 

The role will be accountable to the Head of Development and the role can be worked flexibly between home and our new Southbank office- hybrid model.  Travel to project sites will be required.

 

This is ideally a full-time role.  Reasonable requests for part time work will be considered.

 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Being accountable for the progress and status of project development(s) in the portfolio
  • Applying sound project management expertise to ensure schedules, budget and risk are documented and controlled appropriately
  • Managing internal and external resources (including consultants) to support development
  • Negotiating and securing land tenure agreements and management of landowner and stakeholder relationships
  • Leading planning processes to secure necessary statutory project approvals
  • Managing procurement processes in collaboration with ENGIE’s general procurement departments and managers
  • Ownership of the project Assumptions Book that describes the project parameters as they input into the Project Financial Model

 

 

About You:

The successful incumbent will have solid experience in the development of renewable power generation assets.  You will have sound influencing and effective communication skills and can balance multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.  You have gained excellent project management skills, preferably in a matrix management environment and can steer change and work within a changing environment.
