We are looking for a person responsible for implementing and applying ethics & compliance rules in Polish companies, as well as for ongoing legal advice. The ideal candidate should be interested in ethics and compliance issues and be ready to devote most of their working time to these issues.

We are currently looking for a:

Lawyer & Deputy Ethics & Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of legal regulations and activities of entities in Poland in terms of compliance programs (ethics & compliance)
• Implementation and application of Group policies in companies in Poland
• Updating or preparing internal regulations, including internal policies in the field of ethics and compliance
• Supervision over the violation reporting system and participation in explanatory proceedings
• Implementing and promoting good practices and conducting training for employees in the field of ethics, compliance, and applicable Group policies and procedures
• Ongoing legal advice in the field of the Group’s activities in Poland, especially in the corporate and contractual area
• Preparation of contract templates and contracting rules taking into account the provisions of policies in the field of ethics & compliance
• Support for Group employees in Poland in the field of applying legal requirements and ethics & compliance

Expectations:

• Master degree in Law, commenced bar training or bar admission (as advocate or legal counsel)
• Professional experience in the field of compliance is welcomed
• At least 3 years of experience as a lawyer or a person responsible for compliance in a company or law firm
• Knowledge of English and Polish at least B2 level
• Knowledge of French is welcomed
• Ability to formulate conclusions and recommendations regarding compliance issues
• Ability to formulate and apply internal procedures
• Independence, creativity, timeliness, conscientiousness, accuracy
• High level of confidentiality and ability to process confidential information
• Building and developing relationships based on a high level of trust and discretion and effective communication with various departments of the company
